Meet STARCO at international forestry fair in Lucerne August 2019
STARCO will again display its unique dual wheel solutions and flat-sided spikes for mowers to use in the tough Swiss alpine conditions.
STARCO, along with other 280 exhibitors, will join the forestry fair in Lucerne in Switzerland from 15th to 18th of August in 2019.
This will be the second time STARCO participates in this fair to display the following:
- Specially reinforced wheels for the toughest use in forestry operations,
- STARCO Dumper and STARCO Flotation tires – ideally suited for mixed forestry operations,
- Dual wheel solutions for stability and information about the standard product range,
- Unique e-coat technology for corrosion-resistant steel wheels,
- STARCO’s clamp system for mounting dual wheels,
- KimmFix, a spiked mower wheel for traction even on the steepest alpine inclines.
For STARCO, Switzerland is a very important market for its dual wheel solutions, because it was in the alpine environment where STARCO’s dual systems were firstly invented, produced and patented in the 1970s. Today, STARCO develops dual wheel and spacer system for other European countries as well, however the Swiss solutions remain specialised for the Swiss market. Also, STARCO Switzerland serves the Swiss market with Kenda passenger car tyres and Petlas Agrar.

The Lucerne International Forest Fair is a meeting place for the entire forest industry. Around 280 exhibitors present the latest developments in equipment, machines and processes in the forestry and wood industry at the Lucerne Forest Fair.
