Meet us at the SIMA 2017 fair in Paris
On 26 February to 2 March 2017 STARCO will join Europe’s largest agricultural fair in Paris, France. STARCO displays in-house designed, developed and manufactured wheel solutions for the agricultural industry and information regarding a unique, flexible manufacturing set-up.
STARCO has during 2016 transformed the business from being entity-driven to become segment-driven. At the SIMA fair STARCO’s European Agricultural team will be present and ready to discuss clever wheel and tyre solutions for various agricultural applications.
“Besides having a thoroughly tested product range for these application, we are also attending SIMA to discuss our second to none manufacturing set-up specialised in low and high volume production for this segment in particular,” explains STARCO’s Segment Director for Agricultural Implement, Frédéric Ivancich.
The STARCO branded wheels are developed in-house in close collaboration with the market and produced in STARCO’s Croatian ISO9001 certified steel wheel factory. STARCO is currently investing significantly in manufacturing capabilities – also in this particular factory that expects a volume increase of 20% next year.
“We are working closely with the engineering departments of our key OEM customers to develop new solutions in bed seeding and hay tedding technique. This to increase the performance of the machines through the wheel solutions – for instance by taking soil respect, rolling and puncture resistance, wear rate and life time of the assemblies into consideration. We believe our ability to innovate, our specialist knowhow, availability and service will strengthen our customers’ position in the market and make their customers even more satisfied,” says Ivancich.
At the stand you can see various STARCO tyres and wheel assemblies, such as STARCO HT, STARCO SG Flotation and STARCO AS Loader, and premium tyres from STARCO’s key supplier Kenda the K395 Power Grip for small wheel loader used for agricultural purposes.
STARCO’s well-known dual wheel system will also be displayed at the fair at various distributors stands. Below you can watch a 90 seconds video showing how simple STARCO dual wheels can be mounted on your tractor without complicated or damaging mountings.
In 2015 SIMA hosted 1,770 companies from 42 countries and more than 235,000 entries.
