Meet us at the Swiss forestry fair in Lucerne August 2017
STARCO will be amongst the 280 exhibitors in Lucerne joining the largest Swiss trade fair for forestry. STARCO displays unique, patented solutions for mounting dual wheels and flat-sided spikes for mowers to use in the characteristic alpine environment of Switzerland.
STARCO will join the forestry fair for the first time and as a main sponsor for the fair running in Lucerne in Switzerland 17th-20th August 2017.
At the fair, the visitors can meet our Swiss sales and service team. The stand will display:
- Specially reinforced wheels for the toughest use in forestry operations.
- STARCO Dumper and STARCO Flotation tires – ideally suited for mixed forestry operations.
- Dual Wheel solutions for stability and information about the standard product range.
- Unique e-coat technology for corrosion-resistant steel wheels.
- STARCO’s patented clamp system for mounting dual wheels.
- A spiked mower wheel for traction even on the steepest alpine inclines.
Switzerland is a key market for our Dual Wheel solutions. It is where STARCO’s dual systems were born over 45 years ago. All the initial development took place in the tough Swiss alpine conditions. Today the dual wheel and spacer system is developed for other European countries, however the Swiss solutions remains specialised for the Swiss market.

With 280 exhibitors and 26’000 visitors, the Forestry Fair in Lucerne is the most important trade fair for forest and wood in Switzerland. It shows every two years the new and further developments of sustainable and multifunctional forest management as well as trends in wood harvesting technology, forestry logistics and wood processing.
