Swiss STARCO team promotes Kenda at GIMS

STARCO Switzerland has been distributor of Kenda automotive range since spring 2018. The Kenda range covers not only the automotive range but also turf, industrial, small tires, special tires and trailer tires. At GIMS, both companies presented under the umbrella of KENDA and displayed KENDA’s products for passenger vehicles, vans, SUVs and 4×4 in Hall 4, stand 4248.

“It’s great to be here in Geneva and discuss with customers. I’m proud to present Kenda and tyres that recently out performed major, well-established tyre brands in regards of important safety disciplines,” says Stephan Schär, Managing & Sales Director, STARCO Switzerland.

Schär refers to German AUTOBILD’s comprehensive summer tyres test released in the 9th 2019-edition. Here Kenda’s EMERA A1 gets a 7th place of the 53 tyres, and a 4th and 7th place in the important safety parameters related to aquaplaning. The journalist even highlights the overall well-performing Kenda tyre stating “ein Anfang is gemacht,” which refers to a good beginning of a “new” European player.

Kenda has focus on the two newest tyres in the European product range:

• The all-season tyre KENETICA 4S – KR202 that combines high- performance summer tyre capabilities with the safety standards of a modern winter tire.
• The new KENETICA ECO – KR203 that impresses with excellent water clearance and aquaplaning performance and thus proves to be a reliable companion for the changing weather conditions of Europe.

The range also counts, the ultra-high-performance (UHP) summer tyre EMERA A1, the winter tyre WINTERGEN 2 for passenger vehicles and the KOMENDO WINTER for trucks.

Kenda has focus on developing tyres that fits the wide variety of road conditions in the European market.

STARCO recently released a Kenda range for trailers, however STARCO is only distributor of Kenda automotive tyres in STARCO Switzerland.
