From 24 to 28 February, STARCO will join Europe’s largest agricultural fair in Paris, France. STARCO displays in-house designed, developed and manufactured wheel solutions for the agricultural industry and shares information regarding the unique, flexible manufacturing set-up.

STARCO anticipates more than 10% growth in turnover during 2019 in the French market. Therefore, French original equipment manufacturers get special attention at the Sima exhibition:

“Two years ago, we changed our strategy in the French market. Back then, our focus changed from the traditional aftermarket to becoming a strong partner for the OEMs. This is still our focus, and we see significant progress in regards of customer relations and numbers,” states Thomas Ballegaard, Chief Commercial Officer in STARCO.

During the recent years, STARCO has generally experienced high growth within the tractor and agricultural segments, and the company anticipates further growth in the coming years.

“We work to unleash our potential in the agricultural sector. For instance, within hay tedders, bale wrappers and tractors,” explains Hubert Plouchart, Senior Sales Manager in STARCO France. He continues: “Besides the mainly agricultural market, STARCO is strong in trailers and the caravan market in France too.”

In 2017, the 7-hall fair hosted 1,770 exhibitors and 240,000 trade visitors from around the world. The focus is on products and trends for the agricultural industry.

At the STARCO stand, visitors can meet a group of experts presenting in-house developed and manufactured products, ready to discuss how the wheel and tyre solutions can improve the performance of different applications. For instance, the old-time favourite STARCO Alptrak, that has recently been upgraded in collaboration with Avant Tecno, or the relatively new STARCO HS Flotation.

“This year, we are happy to give the visitors the opportunity to see why the STARCO dual wheels system is the best in the market, by experiencing how easy it is to fit and adjust our clamp system,” states Ballegaard. The dual wheels are developed in-house and manufactured in STARCO’s Croatian ISO9001 certified steel wheel factory. All wheels produced in this factory are e-coated to prevent corrosion.
