STARCO increasing focus on its successful Flex product line
STARCO is sharpening its focus on key products within Light transportation: wheel assemblies for wheel barrows, sack trucks and internal trolleys.
In 2016 STARCO became a part of the Kenda Group to grow their European footprint. Since then STARCO has been utilising the Kenda capabilities and product portfolio for core business areas including our own STARCO manufactured product lines from our two wheel factories.
STARCO has been long known for its flexibility and its ability to react to the market’s demands. Over the last years, we have been experiencing a growing interest for non-puncture solutions within the Light transportation segment. As our innovative design concepts within the STARCO Flex line have gained increased popularity, we have allocated resources and our engineers have strengthened their focus on further development on non-puncture features.
Based on the success of these innovations and recognizing that, over time, they have out-competed the traditional solutions, STARCO decided to phase out the traditional plastic wheel by the end of the year.
The STARCO Flex product range, in combination with either a steel wheel with the STARCO Flex Pro solution or as an integrated solution with a wheel centre in plastic (like the STARCO Flex Lite or STARCO Flex iCore solution), continue as a strong product offering for manual powered applications.
Customers affected by this strategic change have been contacted directly to find a suitable future set-up.
