STARCO expands Polish facilities
STARCO invests in additional warehouse and fitting facilities in Poland to enable further growth. Friday 30 August, they started the construction with a ceremony. STARCO expects the new facilities to be ready in the beginning of 2020.
Since 2001, STARCO’s Polish subsidiary has developed significantly – both in regards of people and performance and since 2016, the turnover has grown more than 40%.
“We have seen significant growth in our agricultural and trailer segments,” says Wojciech Piechota, OEM Sales Manager in STARCO Poland. “We see our extraordinary focus on, for instance, trailer OEMs to show results.”

Despite significant improvements in efficiencies during 2018, STARCO lack assembly capacity and space to meet the growing demand from Polish OEM customers.
“Our operational setup will very soon limit business in Poland where we see great opportunities,” states Richard Todd, Chief Executive Officer at STARCO. He continues: “We have been working with this investment and expansion plan for a while. It’s a pleasure to celebrate today with the team in Poland and Jimmy the official start to the expansion.”

Thursday 29th August STARCO hosted an official ceremony with the construction company ARKADA. Both Jimmy Yang, President at Kenda, and Richard Todd joined the ceremony.
The Polish subsidiary in Mielec was established in 2001 with focus on aftermarket. Today, 25 employees service original equipment manufacturers and the expansion will increase from the existing 2,500 m2 to 5,500 m2.
